I don't know what kind of lids and rings you are using, but very few
would suggest that you boil the lids for 10 minutes. Look at the box
they come in and follow the instructions. Also, you usually need to
wait 24 hours to see if the jar is sealed. Touching the lids or rings
before then may interfere with that.
