Green beans dehydration question. [message #153710] Fr, 07 Oktober 2005 13:28

Can green beans be dehydrated in full WITHOUT being cut to 1"
pieces and WITHOUT their ends removed ? Will there be any loss of
quality, texture or will drying time increase when this is done ?

Thanks.

Personally I would trim, cut, blanch then dehydrate but that's the way I
do it. IMO dehydration is not the best method of preserving green beans
and I've preserved a lot this summer since my garden overproduced!
