I've been craving soup...I know it's warm outside...but still I'm craving
soup.
Today I am making Mustgovian Beef, pearl wheat, pot barley, mushroom soup.
Gots sweet red peppers, chinese cabbage, vadillia onion, carrot, zuchinni,
heart of celery (with leaves) a cup of red wine (mini bottle) and some
canned italian tomatoes with the mushrooms, pearl wheat, pot barely and a
little par boiled rice and about 2 lbs of left over eye of round beef
roast. Seasoned with black pepper, maggi sauce and Parisienne blend
(penzey's),3 minced cloves of garlic and a tad of Frank's hot sauce. (If
I'da had green beans or corn I'da added that too). I'll salt to taste this
after it simmers cooks the veggies; as the maggi is fairly salty.
Since this is basically a tidy up the fridge and cupboard exercise...I have
no clue on what it will taste like other than good.
I'm guessing soup for supper tonight, and lunch all next week.
