I'll grant them one thing: Don't buy or request an appliance that you
have no intention of using. I finally got a bread machine and a yogurt
maker, and tossed the rice cooker.
My B&SIL got us an electric stand-alone rotisserie, at a time when I
rarely cooked poultry and never cooked meat (it was a crime what I did
to a nice roast). We found out where they purchased it, and traded it
in for a dual-alarm clock radio, which we've used daily for the last 16
years come Friday.
