I bought socks & shoelaces today. I thought I'd put on the socks, install
the new shoelaces, and then put on the shoes. Also bought some milk. I might
try it with cereal tomorrow, although I need to research this idea a bit
more.

Michael, I am soooooo jealous! Soulard is an absolute favorite of mine;
unfortunately, I only get there about once a year. Sounds like you had
fun. Carol

I was thinking about the Soulard Market today. It's apparently the
10th anniversary of the TWA 800 crash off of Long Island. (there was a
thing on CNN about it) That weekend I was down in STL staying with
some friends and we had a big cookout, which of course called for a
trip to that wonderful market...
The crash was big nooze in STL because of course TWA was then the
"hometown" airline...

They're slow this year for locals. I got some decent "Arkansas"
tomatoes at the store.
Hot enough for you?

At least we're getting peaches in now. I was at Schnucks tonight, and
saw a woman loading up a bag of California rock-hard peaches ($1.99 a
lb.). I don't usually bug people in the store, but I had to direct her
to the display of Eckerts (a local area orchard) peaches for $1.29 a lb.
